If you'd like to register a domain name to ensure that nobody else will take it, but you haven't created the website for it yet, you could park it. This is a service that registrar companies provide whenever a domain address isn't connected to any web or e mail hosting service. This way, you are able to protect a brand name, for instance, and you'll own the domain name in question even though it won't open any content. If you'd like, you can pick some default template that the registrar provides, like For Sale or Under Construction, alternatively you can forward the domain name to another web address. The second option is very helpful in case you own a number of domain names, but you want every one of them to open the same website. For instance, you can register domain.net and domain.org, then park them and direct them to domain.com. In this example, you're going to need hosting for the third domain address only and the traffic to the other ones is going to be redirected to it.
Parked Domains in Shared Hosting
You're going to be able to park as many domains as you like with any of the shared hosting plans which we offer you. Naturally, this feature is provided only for domains registered with us since the service is always provided only by the registrar. As opposed to most companies, we don't charge anything more for parking a domain address and the process takes just a couple of clicks in your Hepsia CP. We've got a few parking templates to choose from where you can add custom text. If you choose to host a parked domain in the future, adding it to your account requires simply a mouse click. Everything required for the site to start showing up, like creating a domain folder and setting up DNS records will be done automatically by our system. Our feature-rich Domain Manager tool will enable you to see a full list of the domain addresses you have registered through our company and you can set a filter to see just the parked or only the hosted ones.
Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Servers
Our Linux semi-dedicated plans don't have a set limit for the amount of domain names you can park. This option is offered for domain names that are registered with our company and not ones that are only hosted, as the service is always provided only by the registrar. Parking any of your domains is really basic and takes a few mouse clicks with the feature-rich Domain Manager software tool, which you’ll be able to access via your Hepsia web hosting Control Panel. You are going to have a number of parking templates to choose from and you can add custom text to each of them - Under Construction, For Sale, Parked Domain, etc. Un-parking a domain is just as easy and what is more, our system is going to set up all the required records and it'll create a folder within the File Manager section automatically, so you'll not have to do a single thing manually.
